The Gill in conversation with Mark Lawn, Canon Europe’s director of Graphics & Communications Group.
Canon Europe’s 2017 Production Printing Business Days were a showcase for the company’s extensive portfolio of production printing technology solutions. Its aim was to inspire delegates by showing how its technologies, combined with solutions from a range of finishing and workflow partners, can help commercial printers and in-house print departments expand their capabilities, access new revenue streams and embrace new business models with the potential to deliver increased value for their customers.
While the technology on display was certainly seen by many to be the star of the show, what inspired me more than anything was the company’s consultative approach to working with the market and how it is providing all of the necessary tools and trappings required deliver this increased value for customers.
Following the event I caught up with Mark Lawn, Canon Europe’s director of Graphics & Communications, at the industry giant’s West London headquarters to find out more.
