Datum, the marketing and print agency based in Hatfield, has invested in Keyline, the new Cloud based MIS to fully automate its production workflow. Keyline is a Software as a Service MIS system that fully automates workflow from web to print right through to despatch.


Keyline, through its API integration, will seamlessly link to the company’s Vpress web to print system fully automating scheduling and production. Additionally Keyline, through the app store, will be integrated with Datum’s Pipedrive CRM, Dropbox, Power BI reporting tools, Ricoh C9100 digital press, Xero accounting system and various courier companies, reducing time intensive manual tasks for administrative personnel.


Scott Pearce, managing partner at Datum, says: “ We have been looking to fully automate our production with a cloud based system for some time now, and when we sat down and looked at the possibilities that Keyline would give us, it was a simple decision to make.”


Datum offer a wide range of products ranging from standard commercial digital print right through to complex marketing campaigns for some major customers including Waitrose, Adidas, British Gas and John Lewis.


“We are handling 100’s of jobs a day and with Keyline working in the background we can concentrate on the customer facing tasks rather then worrying about all the manual production tasks that can take so much time,” says Mr Pearce.


Keyline was launched in the UK by Cloud to Print, the UK and Ireland’s exclusive distributor, in 2018 and is currently in operation at 5 major print operations in the UK.
